On Wednesday(May 16) Jena Gambaccini of ChiCityFashion hosted a Juicy Beach Packing Weekend party at the Juicy Couture Store on Oak St. The night was replete with shopping- 20% off AND donation benefiting one of Jena’s favorite charities PAWS, live sketching by Illustrator Rosemary Fanti(she’s ah-mazing having done illustrations for some really great people in the city), nosh and delicious cocktails. DJ Elise of Fig Media spun some catchy tunes while guests browsed through the Summer offerings from Juicy. There was a great turnout for the event with Jena’s HOC family Bridget White, Theodore Venable, Corri McFadden in attendance to support her. Other guests in attendance were Ryan Beshel, Mel Muoio, Jessie Kalin, Mercedes Parra.

This is the third party I’ve attended recently that’s included an illustrator/sketch artist element which leads me to believe this is the new kitschy photo booth.
