New limited edition Wolverine 1000 Mile 744 LTD Boot will be released at Haberdash tonight. This brand new style, based on a vintage pattern from the 1930’s, is made of Horween shell cordovan leather. Shell cordovan is prized for its softness and strength, and Horween has been producing it since 1905. Only 1000 of these boots were made, each with a certificate of authenticity, and you can grab a pair at special launch events in select global cities Chicago being one of them.
Haberdash at 611 N. State Street is having a big blow-out where you can get a straight razor shave while you enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Anyone who purchases a pair of the 744 LTD boots will receive a special gift, and anyone who attends can enter to win a pair of 1000 Mile boots.
This is the second time Wolverine 1000 Mile has partnered with Horween Leather Company, a Chicago tannery that has been in business since 1905, on a limited edition boot. In 2010, the 721 LTD debuted to great fanfare in a similar run.
Don your natty best for Hendrick’s Voyages into the Unusual, a couple evenings of exploration into the thoroughly peculiar world of your preferred cucumber-and-rose-infused beverage, happening September 26 and 27 at Salvage One.
