One day, while scrolling through Instagram, someone posted about these great press on nails they discovered. I was initially skeptical because, you know the stigma of press on nails; then I flashed to the image of Peggy Bundy and her funky nails and said why not! I’m the type to have her nails done today and mess it up by day 2/3 if not using gel polish (and we know how expensive that habit can get) so I was ready to give something new a try and cut back on time and salon visits. Since its my job to try these things and report back to you all, I bought it and boy let me tell you, I’ve cut down on mani/nail extension salon visits tremendously due to my new find and saved money which now goes towards skincare/makeup. The product? Kiss Impress Nails and its a gamechanger.
This is not to say that salon mani’s aren’t great, because listen after this lockdown/isolation is over with, its one of the first beauty appointments I’m making. But while we’re all inside, doing our best staying home and still trying to maintain a beauty routine, you can give the imPress nails a try to hold you over til you can make it to the salon again. The great thing is they come in different color schemes and styles like oval, almond and square. Do note, the lengths are pretty modest, so for the people looking for press on talons, imPress nails at this time does not make those though they started to add more selections in the couture collection to the mix. In my personal experience, they usually last about a week if not longer depending on what you’re doing (washing dishes, etc…). With the imPress nails, they come prepared with an adhesive that’s safe for nails but just be careful yanking it off when you want to take it off. You can file, trim and shape the nails to fit your own and the best part, you can pick it up from your area pharmacy and they are priced just right at under $12. So whether you’re a nail chameleon that likes to change things up a bit quite often or looking to save money and time or need a holdover after using your last bit of acetone to take off you nail extensions, you might want to add that imPress nails to your basket. PS: Don’t get this confused with KISS gel fantasy nails, those do not work nor do they last as well as the imPress nails.
