A raid overnight in the Paris suburb of St. Denis has nabbed seven arrests and two people dead including the wife of the alleged mastermind Abdelhamid Abaaoud, she blew herself up with a suicide vest in a stand-off that ended after six hours. Meanwhile in the states, U.S. Homeland Security’s Intelligence & Analysis directorate in partnership with the FBI and the National Counterterrorism Center in May published a document naming Abdelhamid Abaaoud, following a anti-terrorism raids in Verviers, Belgium in January this year. Elsewhere, two flights from the US to Paris were diverted due to bomb threats, a suspicious package was spotted at O’Hare and four people were removed from a Chicago-bound flight in Maryland after a female passenger became suspicious of one of the men who was watching the news on his phone, trying times. Remember that Hall & Oates song “Private Eyes” well this edition is investor eyes and they are closely watching square public coming out party as it’s IPO pricing to be released later today. Square, which was founded in 2009 as a mobile credit card processor for small biz merchants and dubbed a unicorn tech company, derives 95% of its revenue from payment processing and point-of-sale transactions it executes for customers. It will reportedly sell 27 million shares for $11 to $13 each and seeking a valuation of as much as $4.2 billion which is 30% less than in a private fundraising round a year ago.It will debut on NYSE Thursday.
