With a score of 2-0 in Game 6 the Chicago Blackhawks became to 2015 Stanley Cup champions 🏆 🏆 🏆 wining the cup at home for the first time in 77 years the 3rd cup in 6 years. The Conn Smythe Trophy was given to Duncan Keith, named MVP of the game with captain Jonathan Toews given the honor of being the first to hoist the cup. Chicago Blackhawks fans celebrated into the night and the parade is planned for Thursday. The cup arrived, with police escort, late to United Center due to detours from the torrential downpour in Chicago earlier in the day that caused tornado sirens to go off.

• Yesterday Gap announced it will close 175 stores and eliminate 250 positions at its San Francisco headquarters. After cutbacks over the next few years, the chain in North America will include about 500 regular-price stores and 300 outlets. It seems part of their problem is they didn’t keep up with its target customers — the millennials — who have a dramatically different fashion sense from the khakis an t-shirt wearing generation before them.
