During a teleprompter press conference in the White House Monday, President Trump finally said what many had been wanting him to say when he initially remarked about Charlottesville. His condemnation of “the KKK, neo-Nazi, white supremacists and other hate groups” saying racism is evil, came two days after he tried to pin blame on “many sides.” Late night hosts took #45 to task. In Jimmy Kimmel’s monologue he said “we went into the weekend wondering about Kim Jong Un starting a war, we came out of it wondering if our president was cutting eyeholes out of his bedsheets.” Jimmy Fallon delivered a somber monologue urging everyone, especially white people to speak out against hate, ignoring it is just as bad as supporting it. Seth Meyers said “it shouldn’t take longer for the president to do the right thing than it takes to get a package from Amazon.” Stephen Colbert’s monologue spoke to the fact that the president had tweet storms going after critics or to speak his mind. Anthony Scaramucci was on the Colbert show as well. After Ken Frazier, the Merck CEO that resigned from Pres. Trump’s manufacturing council, Trump tried to tweet shame him then both Under Armor CEO Plank and Intel boss Brian Krzanich also resigned. • If you are riding the CTA this morning, service might be delayed as a body was discovered on the tracks. The body of a man in his 20s was discovered halting services of Red Brown and Purple line trains at the Fullerton stop. Shuttle buses were running between North/Clybourn and Belmont.
• A Chicago area homeowner shot and killed three people in a home invasion burglary but according to report from NBC, Police said there are “inconsistencies” in the account given by the homeowner about the self-defense case. Two men and one woman were shot and killed in the 10200 block of S. Ewing.
• Sports minute: Tiger Woods had a pharma party going on in his system when he was pulled over for DUI in May. Toxicology reports indicate Woods had Xanax, THC, Vicodin, Dilaudid and Ambien in his system. According to ESPN, Woods pled guilty to reckless driving and agreed to enter a diversion program that will allow him to have his record wiped clean if he completes the program. Ezekiel Elliot, running back for the Dallas Cowboys, who’s been served a six game suspension is planning to appeal. The suspension stems from Elliot’s ex-girlfriend Tiffany Thompson’s allegations of domestic violence last July. Cristiano Ronaldo has been suspended for five games after he pushed a referee and also because he was shown two yellow cards during Real Madrid’s Sunday match against Barcelona; he has 10 days to appeal. If you’re hearing the name Marvin Bagley III everywhere today from sports loving friends, its because the #1 high school recruit has committed to Duke and reclassified himself as a class of 2017 player. Most recruits announced their collegiate intentions back in the spring.

• Prince Rogers Nelson aka The Purple One is getting his own shade of the color. In “a deal between his increasingly license-happy estate and the Pantone Color Institute” Love Symbol #2, will be the official color across the brand he left behind. Love Symbol #2 was the name Prince gave to his copyrighted symbol, which made its first appearance on 1992’s Love Symbol Album.
• A stuntwoman on the set of Deadpool 2 has died after a motorcycle scene she was filming sent her airborne. According to TMZ she’s been identified as Joi “SJ” Harris, a professional motorcycle racer from Brooklyn, NY and the first African-American licensed female in the sport. Ryan Reynolds tweeted a statement offering condolence.

• Tiffany & Co. won their lawsuit against Costco and now Costco has to cough up at least $19.4 million in damages. It all stemmed from a 2013 lawsuit, where Costco was selling rings they did not labeled as Tiffany style (infringing on Tiffany trademark) but were rather telling customers it was Tiffany rings when were not actually manufactured by Tiffany. Bella Hadid will appear on Vogue Arabia’s September issue, photographed by Karl Lagerfeld. Hadid’s father is of Palestinian descent and sister Gigi covered the mag for their March issue.
