Germany has ordered the electronic car maker to stop using its misleading autopilot brand meanwhile a major announcement that was scheduled for today from Elon Musk/Tesla has been postponed until Wednesday. • Olympic track star Tyson Gay’s daughter, Trinity, was killed over the weekend. The 15-year-old was hit in the neck during an early morning exchange of fire between two vehicles outside Cook Out restaurant in Lexington, Kentucky. Three men, D’markeo Taylor, Dvonta Middlebrooks and Chazerae Taylor, have now been charged in connection with the shooting.

• The woman who was recorded over the summer calling a suburban couple the n-word at Chicago’s Margarita fest has been charged with a hate crime. 26-year-old Jessica Sanders, who is currently on supervision for a disorderly conduct conviction in which she used racial slurs with a police officer, was arrested and a Cook County judge set her bail at $50,000. 

• Wikileaks Julian Assange and a few election updates. Julian Assange, who is currently residing at the Ecuadorian embassy had his internet link mysteriously severed by a state party. Assange, whose health has been declining in recent months was thought to have died after a series of cryptic tweets were sent from the Wikileaks account. Bernie Sanders along with Sen. Elizabeth Warren, were stumping for Hillary Clinton in Denver and will be in Arizona on Tuesday. Jared Kushner, Trump’s son in law held informal talks with a media startup about starting a Trump TV network.  A Hillsborough, North Carolina GOP office was attacked by a firebomb and an adjacent building was also vandalized with graffiti including a swastika and the words “Nazi Republicans leave town or else,”

ENTERTAINMENT

• Over the weekend, Beyoncé (with bloody ear), Lauryn Hill, Nicki Minaj, DNCE all performed at the TidalX1015 concert benefitting NYC non-profit Robin Hood foundation. Speaking of Beyoncé,  SNL spoofed her Lemonade track “Sorry” with Cecily Strong playing Melania Trump and Emily Blunt as Ivanka Trump; watch it here.

• Designer and celeb in his own right, Karl Lagerfeld is expanding his empire outside of fashion by launching Karl Lagerfeld Hotels and Resorts, an international hospitality brand under a long-time licensing deal with Brandmark Collective BV. With his 270-room designed luxury hotel in Macau set to open next year, the new venture will include restaurants, residential properties and private clubs.

FASHION

• Louis Vuitton’s shoe style director, Fabrizio Viti, has launched his own line and his first collection titled “Please Don’t Eat the Daisies,” for spring ’17 debuted during Paris Fashion Week. A Brown’s fashion rep described the collection as having a “beautiful, innocent, romantic element to it.”
