Almost all of Detroit’s Public schools will be closed today due to teacher sickout over concerns about the finances of Michigan’s largest school district after DPS Emergency Manager Steven Rhodes informed them the district won’t be able to make payroll once $48.7 million in emergency state aid runs out on June 30. Don’t expect something like this in Chicago anytime soon even though Gov. • Australian entrepreneur, Craig Steven Wright, has identified himself as the creator of Bitcoin which some are giving the strong sideye emoji. The thing with bitcoin is the virtual currency’s creation is largely shrouded in secrecy. Wright claims in a blog post that he developed the original bitcoin software under the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto and even released encryption keys.
