Well its officially official, Ryan Lochte is a terrible person. When two swimmers were pulled off their flight back to the US as investigation into their claims of being robbed by gunpoint intensified, they sang likee canary in a coal mine and gave up ring leader, Lochte. Turns out Jimmy Feigen, Jack Conger, Ryan Lochte and Gunnar Bentz drank too much, vandalized property, and fled in cabs. • He finally did it, kind of. Frank Ocean sent fans into a frenzy yesterday when it was announced his highly anticipated music was streaming but it wasn’t what was expected. He actually streamed Endless a visual album and not “Boys Don’t Cry.” 

• Chicago’s police chief Eddie Johnson announced they he was accepting the recommendation to fire 9 Chicago police officers  who falsified reports in the Laquan McDonald case. The next step now is for Johnson to take his recommendation to the city’s police board, which will make the final decision. The process typically takes about seven months, so any decision to fire the officers isn’t likely until next year.

• Highlights Olympic almost over.  Its winding down but last night, Usain Bolt proved why he’s one of the greatest athletes. On his quest for a triple triple, he won the 200m in solid fashion even saying in an interview after that he wished he had someone faster running in front of him. Brazilian canoeist Isaquias Queiroz dos Santos became his country’s first medallist in the sport. Ashton Eaton defended his gold in the decathlon. The Women’s 4x100m relay team had a do over to qualify into the finals, after a bump in during their heat. Tonight the relays on the track and Men’s basketball USA v Spain for gold, will be one to watch. Medal count USA(100), China (58) Great Britain (56).

•  Amber Heard is donating $7 million divorce settlement that she received from Johnny Depp to two charities. In her statement she said “The donation will be divided equally between the ACLU, with a particular focus to stop violence against women, and the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, where I have worked as a volunteer for the past 10 years alongside organizations like the Art of Elysium.”

 Sean “Diddy” Combs and his lady love Cassie are on the outs. TMZ reports they got in an argument after Cassie told him she wanted to break up, he grabbed her phone, perhaps to see if anyone was sliding in her DMs. He took off, cops were called no charges filed.
