ASIA TRIP WRAPUP. That’s just about a wrap on US President Trump’s 12 day trip to Asia with stops in Japan, China, South Korea, Vietnam and Philippines. During his visit to the Philippines which concludes the trip, President Trump touted his “great relationship” with Philippines’ president, Rodrigo Duterte who’s on the human rights naughty list. Leaders gathered for a photo op as well at the Summit of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations in Manila. The President also found some time to acknowledge NK leader Kim Jung in a #pettypatty tweet. Trump has announced he is nominating Alex Azar to be the next HHS Secretary.
