The President of the United States went on Fox news yesterday for a sit down with Sean Hannity, following his tax reform speech, where they talked about several topics one of them being Colin Kaepernick. Trump said “Frankly the NFL should have suspended him for one game and he would have never done it again.” This was hours after he tweeted about taking away broadcasting licenses following NBC’s piece on a tense WH July meeting he called fake news. The president is expected to sign an executive order that will allow individuals and small businesses to buy skimpier insurance coverage at lower prices, bypassing state regulations and Affordable Care Act protections. He has nominated Kirstjen Nielsen, who currently serves as top aide to his COS Gen. John Kelly, to lead the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. • Gucci’s going fur free! CEO Marco Bizzarri made the announcement while speaking at the 2017 Kering Talk at the London College of Fashion, that the Kering owned brand will remove fur from all its collections as of spring/summer 2018. Gucci’s fur-free policy going forward will include mink, coyote, raccoon dog, fox, rabbit, and karakul (otherwise known as Swakara, Persian lamb or astrakhan) and all others species specially bred or caught for fur. In other fashion news, Coach is changing its company name to Tapestry Inc., effective October 31.
