Rose gold watches (Patek is preferred), Rose colored outfits, Rosé wine, these are a few of my favorite things (blame it on the millennial pink craze) and now Rosé tequila is getting on that list thanks to Código 1530’s Rosa Tequila. The Rosa, which is Codigo’s Rose colored tequila created and free of chemicals or additives joins the lineup of Blanco and Reposado offerings from the Código tequila family.
Código 1530 Rosa to get its pink like hue, is rested for one month in uncharted Napa Cabernet French White Oak Barrels. A tequila unlike most on the market, it leads with a bright agave character and finishes with soft floral notes of Cabernet, a tequila drinkers Rosé. Codigo recently hosted a fun tasting event here in Chicago at The Clayton, where founders Federico “Fede” Vaughan and Ron Snyder were joined by invited guests to take part in guided tastings of the tequilas, bites by Prime & Provision plus live music and entertainment.
