Fringed tweed jackets, shell toe cowboy boots, boleros and feathers, Paris was in Dallas honey. The Chanel Métiers d’Art show which was the Pre-Fall 2014 Chanel presentation showed 95 different looks. Amongst the 900 reported guests in attendance were Vogue EIC Anna Wintour, Zappos Couture new Artistic Director Andre Leon Talley, Hollywood’s newest PYTs Lily Collins, Dakota Fanning, Kristen Stewart, the ageless Lauren Hutton in above the knee quilted Chanel boots and jacket, Zoe Kravitz fresh off Art Basel Miami, Derek Blasberg, Neiman Marcus’ Ken Downing, The Dallas Cowboys Jones clan of Charlotte Jones Anderson, Gene Jones and Jessica Jones. Instagram and twitter was all awash in pictures of guests posing in or in front of the vintage cars. Kristen Stewart has been hand picked by Karl Lagerfeld as the new face of the upcoming campaign of the 2013/14 Métiers d’Art Paris-Dallas collection (how does she book these high fashion gigs, first Balenciaga then this?!). Here are some of our favorites looks from the collection.
