Thank goodness for Brunello Cucinelli. Since the pandemic, and post lockdown, there’s been a very small number of invite-only type events (whose invitations have landed in my inbox and I was able to attend) to rave about in the city, so imagine the delight when the invitation to attend the one year celebration of Brunello Cucinelli’s Rush Street boutique came along. On an unseasonably warm evening of Wednesday October 12, we made our way to 937 North Rush Street.
The urge to get out and mingle like the pre-covid days might not have been an isolated one to me either, seeing the amount of people that showed up for the reception or maybe it was the lure to see what’s new and available for the cold season ahead. Though it seems we’ve all been missing the scene and these fun events that we enjoyed so much pre-COVID. Both floors of the two story boutique, in the high traffic tony Oak Street shopping corridor, was filled with fashionable guests chatting away while sipping their drink of choice like some Vueve Clicquot champagne, or Don Julio 1942® as cellist and DJ duo Andrew Savoia and Carter Ward entertained.

Co-President and Co-Creative Director of Brunello Cucinelli, Carolina Cucinelli dressed in a double breasted cotton and cashmere fluid corduroy blazer paired with the Paillette pinstripe corduroy straight-leg pants from Brunello Cucinelli, was in town for the fête. Massimo Caronna, President and CEO Brunello Cucinelli North America alongside Leyla Vassighy, Head of Brand Merchandising were also in attendance, both dripped down in Brunello, mingling with guests including Dr. Julius Few, Julia Van Nice, Sandro and Claude-Aline Miller, Brendan Fernandez, Almasika jewelry founder Catherine Sarr, Dusty Stemer, studio CAK founder Christopher Kent, Brendan Fernandes, Toni Canada, Dr. Bill Yates just to name a few.

Check out the gallery above for pictures from the event. As we approach the holiday shopping season, you can pop into the boutique to browse and shop their selections of quality luxury wares for men, women, kids and the home. We might not talk about Bruno, but around here we talking Brunello.
