Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Chicago’s Leadership Board is comprised of young professionals devoted to the organization’s vision of making a positive difference in a child’s life and serving the community.
Friday night, the Leadership board members along with friends and supporters celebrated under the white tent at Galleria Marchetti for their 4th annual Big Bash.
The evening which began with VIP tastings sponsored by Far Niente(yes!) had silent auction items, a bang(Green light) food and dancing.
The Leadership board, led by Jeff Barrow, is one of the respected junior boards in the city, comprised of mostly corporate young professionals, that showcases accountability from its members as well as a $1,000 fundraising goal for each member through fundraisers and personal contributions.

Guests had a chance to hear from current member Liz Sheyn who described how her experience as a little sister when her family moved to the United States.
The organization has raised over $100,000 that has helped in growing the Agency, recruit and develop future mentors and generate public awareness of the organization.
