We are eagerly anticipating the upcoming Takashi Murakami: The Octopus Eats Its Own Leg exhibit opening at the MCA to the public Tuesday June 6 and forsee it to rank high MCA’s attendance record plus and the selfies and social engagement that will result si definitely going to be bananas. In anticipation of Murakami’s upcoming Octopus, we’ve been stalking his insta account and its filed with so many #bts gems. It’s great to know that someone as amazingly talented as Murakami also works through the last minute to even when the exhibit was a month away from opening. Murakami and his team were still at work on some of the pieces and installation up until 2 weeks ago and that makes me feel better when I have to pull an all nighters to turn in a piece.
