Last Wednesday(10/22) Simon Doonan, Barney’s Creative Ambassador at Large was in Chicago for Children’s Research Fund’s fundraising reception.
The fundraiser was chaired by Sasha and Greg Adler, Julie & Doug Novack, Kate & Brandon Zibell and Dana & Seth Singerman.
The private event held on Barney’s second floor allowed guests to shop their range of designer items including shoes from Paul Andrew and jewels from Mark Davis, who were in town for the event, where 10% of sales went to the Children’s Research Fund.
Raffle prizes included a pair of Paul Andre Shoes, Mark Davis jewelry and WANT Les Essentiels leather goods.
Children’s Research Fund, now affiliated with Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, was established in 1951 for the sole purpose of raising funds to advance medical research.
The Children’s Research Fund promotes awareness of its mission through vigorous fundraising, education, outreach activities and an annual showcase gala event, The Children’s Ball.
