Jeff Koons Speaks at Art Institute of Chicago Woman’s Board Lecture-Luncheon

Before the record breaking art pieces sold by top galleries and collected by the ultra wealthy, rich and famous, before the multiple brand collaborations, Jeff Koons earned his stripes at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago which he attended from 1975-1976. One of the schools most recognized, not just in the art world, was back at his old stomping grounds on Thursday October 4 for the 2018 edition of the Woman’s Board of the Art Institute of Chicago Lecture Luncheon.

Over 600 people were in attendance at the lecture in the Rubloff Auditorium, which was followed by a Q&A with Koons and James Rondeau, President and Eloise W. Martin Director of the Art Institute of Chicago. VIP guests were treated to a meet and greet with the artist and lunch inside Griffin court. The Woman’s Board underwrote tickets for School of the Art Institute of Chicago students to attend this event free of charge.
