WALK 2013 is shaping up to be one of the best, as the co-chairs promised. ELLE Magazine Fashion News Director Anne Slowey will emcee the program’s benefit Fridya May 3, yep next week Friday(GET YOUR TICKETS). Last year we were on the scene HERE as Paper magazine’s Mickey Boardman emceed the event and presented to Cynthia Rowley and Bill Powers. This Year Ann Slowey will emcee the benefit that will honor Kate and Laura Mulleavy of RODARTE with Legend of Fashion Award and Melissa Sage Fadim with the Heart of Fashion Award. Walk 2013 is being co-chaired by Roopa P. Weber and Stephanie Sick.
Anne Slowey is an integral player in ELLE’s Fashion Next program sponsored by Maybelline celebrating the talents of today’s emerging young designers. She’s been featured on Project Runway and CW’s Stylista.
