The evening began with cocktail reception in the Great hall of Union Station which was transformed with illuminating lights and table decor. As guests arrived and grabbed specialty drinks made from Bombaby Sapphire gin, they perused the silent auction and got a chance to size up the live auction items as well.

One of the recipients of the organizations fundraising efforts was the Noida Deaf Society founded by Ruma Roka who at the time was looking for an opportunity to make an impact and a difference. What started out teaching 5 students has grown to serve 1500 that have since been given hope and job placement in a society that caste those with disabilities.
A student that has been impacted and benefitted from NDS was also on hand to chat with attendees.
