Last night(May 23) Co-chairs, Eda Davidman and Melissa Sage Fadim, of the upcoming benefit A Summer Soirée with Gwyneth Paltrow hosted a kick off reception at the über chic boutique Blake. With guests in attendance such as SAIC President Dr. Walter Massey, Siskel Film Center Executive Director Jean de St. Aubin, Siskel Film center advisory board members, Ellen Sandor(chair), Averill Leviton, David Hundley (Hundley Law Group), David Martin(BMO Harris Bank*), Marsha Goldstein, Roopa Weber (Ariel Investments) and SAIC longstanding supporters such as Rich Varnes (RL Restaurant), Jamey Fadim, Gail Missner, Maxine Kroll, Barry Missner and many more.
The June 15 benefit will honor Academy Award®-winner Gwyneth Paltrow with its prestigious Renaissance Award. Amanda Cadanet, creator and host of Lifetime’s “The Conversation” will serve as host of the evening and conduct an intimate conversation discussing the award winning actress’ career and artistic process. SAIC President Dr. Walter Massey will present Ms. Paltrow with the Gene Siskel Film Center Renaissance Award.
The reception held at Blake featured bites like the hamachi tartare and sips from Blackbird.
