Christmas in July aka Nordstrom’s highly anticipated Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is here!!! The upmarket retailer’s biggest event of the year is set to begin July 9 and go through August 4 with access given in tiers depending on loyalty status. Whether you’re updating your fall wardrobe, preparing for back-to-school, or indulging in a little self-care, now is the ideal time to save big. The Anniversary sale is a once-a-year opportunity to indulge in fresh new arrivals from apparel to home, kids, beauty, accessories and much more, on sale for a limited time, along with only-at-Nordstrom products from sought-after brands in fashion, beauty, and more. The best deals go quickly, and it’s not too late to sign up for a card to shop the sale early!

Here’s eight things to know about the 2024 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (July 9-August 4).
Tiers of Access.
Access to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is offered in tiers based on your yearly spend and your loyalty status. The first opportunity to shop will be on July 9 for Icons Nordstrom cardmembers. Then from July 10 through 14, Nordstrom Ambassadors get a chance to shop. Ambassador level Nordstrom cardmembers get access to the Anniversary sale starting July 11. The Anniversary sale then opens to the public starting July 15 and the sale will go through August 4. You can apply to be a Nordstrom card holder, pending credit approval and you can start shopping before the public does. The two options for Nordstrom credit card is via the retailer itself or a Visa. All cardmembers automatically start at Influencer status. You can only shop Anniversary Sale Early Access as a cardmember. Another perk to having early access is that you get to stack up some point.
New Arrivals
The thing that really makes the annual Nordstrom Anniversary Sale categorically different from others is that they are offering items that will be new arrivals, for limited discount for a limited time. So if you’ve been holding out upgrading your wardrobe assortments, looking to add some staple fall pieces or even get a head start on holiday gifting, this is really the best time to get all that done. Imagine getting a Reiss or Theory coat for close to half the price? Barbour on sale? Kids shies brands like Nike, Adidas, UGG, Sorel are all part of this.
Stylists Here To Help
You’ve made an effort to upgrade your closet but only issue is you’re not sure what style you’re into or how to dress for your body? Thank goodness Nordstrom is staffed with informed and helpful stylists that can get you sorted. You can book free style session as you shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale to make the shopping smoother and more tailored to your needs. You can get Style Help from a Nordstrom Stylist 3 ways. First you can request looks by getting personalized outfit recommendations emailed straight to you from a stylist. Not one to favor online shopping? Meet with a stylist in-store, though you have to book ahead as you know the Anniversary sale is a busy time at the stores. In the Chicago area some of the Nordstrom Stylists include: Rich, Amanda, Diana, Sophia,Celina, Lastly, you can start a chat to get fast, free assistance from the comfort of your home, office or anywhere.
Shop Instore or Online
You have the choice to shop online or in-store during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. One of the best perks of early access is being able to shop in store trying things on and doing that happy shimmy and content for the clock app. One thing I will advise is after your shopping is done whether online or instore is to take some extra security precautions. If you have inconspicuous Xtra Large bag like a zippered LLBean tote, use that and put all your merch inside. If ordering online, perhaps choose the option to pick up in store if you don’t have a secure package room.

Another sweet perk of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is that year over year they offer items from top notch brands and each year they add some new ones too.
