The 2023 edition of the premiere event that’ll kick off most social calendars especially in Miami, Pegasus World Cup Presented by Baccarat, is just a few weeks away. The sure to be celeb heavy horse racing event has tapped king of Miami nightlife David Grutman’s Groot Hospitality to curate entertainment & hospitality. In addition, OneRepublic and Kygo have been announced as performers at the 2023 Pegasus World Cup Presented by Baccarat, scheduled to take place on January 28, 2023 at Gulfstream Park
1/ST (pronounced “First”) launched the Pegasus World Cup in 2017 as part of their mission to modernize the sport of Thoroughbred horse racing. The 2023 collaboration is part of a new multi-year partnership between 1/ST and Groot Hospitality.
Groot Hospitality portfolio of restaurants in the Miami area, Komodo, Papi Steak, Key Club and Gekkō, will serve Pegasus Cup Carousel Club guests trackside as they enjoy Whispering Angel, the Official Rosé of the 2023 Pegasus World Cup. In the Flamingo Room, which offers a premium luxury setting with a bird’s eye view of the track, and in the Private Luxury Suites, guests will be delighted by Groot Hospitality’s newest hotspots Gekkō and The Key Club, alongside signature offerings from Komodo, Papi Steak and Swan. Guests will enjoy a live performance by Brian Newman, the iconic jazz vocalist and trumpeter who is currently the bandleader and arranger for Lady Gaga’s Jazz & Piano Las Vegas residency show, and who has collaborated with legendary performers Wynton Marsalis and Tony Bennett.

Whether it’s Carousel Club (“All For One” package starting at $199 and VIP tables starting at $5,000), Ten Palms ($500 – $1,250), Flamingo Room ($770 – $935), or a Private Luxury Suite (starting at $25,000) there is an experience for every fan. Guests will be treated to an on-site activation by Davidoff Cigars, a VIP pop-up Dr. Barbara Sturm experience, and beverages from returning partner, Pepsi.
