The holiday shopping season is officially underway and you’ve probably set your shopping list get for your loved ones and yourself. Though we all love a good discount and Black Friday has been known to offer some, we all know its not hitting the same as it used to so instead of buying just to buy from a conglomerate, how about we do our part and support local businesses this season and beyond. According to the SBA, “small businesses create two out of every three new jobs” in our economy and truth be told are the backbone of businesses. I’ve recently seen posts from some Chicago small businesses seeking support during this season that’s very crucial to their bottom line and business. Let’s lend our support and our dollars to these local businesses.
