This past Friday(Oct.19) in celebration of breast cancer awareness month, BrightPink hosted its signature cocktail party event VIPink Chicago, one of a national series of VIPink events being hosted across the country to raise funds, awareness and elicit action for breast cancer. Saks Fifth Avenue on the Magnificent Mile was the scene of the event where guests had access to all 5 floors of the store and the opportunity to shop(20% discount) with a percentage of proceeds benefiting BrightPink. With a Host committee chaired by Kathleen Henson and included influencers such as Time Out Chicago’s Kevin Aeh, United Airlines Foundation President Sonya Jackson, NBC5 Morning news co-anchor Daniella Guzman, Chicagolicious star AJ Johnson, 24/7 Chicago’s Catie Keogh, Chicago Butter Cookies’ Mary Astor Smithe. It was a great turnout for the event that also included a fashion show of some of this seasons trends(more to come on that). Emceed by B96’s Showbiz Shelly guests in attendance included Cameron Croft, Raj Sai,Kelli Zink James Goeke, Lindsay Segal, Liza Brooks, Phil Chang, Lindsay Segal, Sam Saifer Berngard, Krystle Gutierrez, Hadassah Hickman and many more. It was a great way to cap off the week and support a great cause.
