Target’s new denim based and inspired line Universal Thread will launch in stores and online February 4, 2018 and you can get a look at some of the styles that will be available for purchase all at a reasonable price point (all under $39.99) with jeans starting at $24.99 for example. Mark Tritton, Target’s executive vice president and chief merchandising officer said this about Universal Thread’s amazing value, “Value is not just about price, it’s also about quality and fit. Universal Thread brings all of that together with items priced at an incredible value. In fact, the everyday denim is priced, on average, up to 10 percent lower than our current offerings, and the quality guests will find is unprecedented at this price.”
In addition to being wallet friendly, Target has also aimed to make the Universal Thread collection size inclusive after testing out the concept with A New Day launch where an assortment was offered in a full range of sizes. Universal Thread’s will serve customers in offerings in different fits, silhouettes from sizes 00-26W. The denim found in this collection is also making an effort to make a positive impact with Italian sourced fabric that offer recycled cotton, sustainable pockets and natural finishes for their premium high-rise jeggings finished using Kitotex,® a technology that uses Chitosan in the dyeing process to help reduce water, chemicals and energy consumption.
