Hyde Park Arts Center recognized Chicago arts leaders Ellen Alberding, Cheryl Lynn Bruce & Kerry James Marshall, Bette Cerf Hill & Bruce Sagan, Amy Rule and Chuck Thurow at their 75th annual gala on November 21.
This year’s event was held at the Bridgeport Art Center’s Skyline Lofts kicked off with a cocktail reception, sit down dinner and a brief program for the night helping to raise $537,000 to support the Art Center’s programs.
Guests in attendance joining Hyde Park Art Center Executive Director Kate Lorenz were the who’s who from Chicago’s art and creative scene including EXPO Chicago President Tony Karman and wife Sondra, Kavi Gupta, Maria Pinto, Sandra and Jack Guthman, MCA Chicago’s Madeleine Grynsztejn, Sotheby’s Helyn Goldenberg, Amy Rule and Mayor Rahm Emanuel, Tony Tasset to name a few.
