Yoo Dae-kyoon, the eldest son of the owner of the company that ran the Sewol ferry that sank in South Korea in April, was convicted of embezzlement on Wednesday and sentenced to three years in prison. He took nearly $6.8 million since 2002 from seven companies. [NY TIMES]
