ICE ROUNDUP. Sanctuary cities including Chicago, were targets of the latest U.S. Customs and Immigration Enforcement (ICE) four day nationwide sweep which saw nearly 500 people arrested. There were 30 arrests made by ICE agents in Cook County and Chicago according to ABC7’s I-Team report. Los Angeles had 101 and Denver 63 arrests. The bill, which will reverse the so-called trigger law, will expand public funding of abortion in Illinois, including to Medicaid recipients.
