Pelosi and Schumer said they “agreed to quickly enact protections for immigrant children, Dreamers, along with a border security package that did not fund the wall” though Trump tweeted today “No deal was made last night on DACA. JP Morgan Chase is committing $40 million over three years to Chicago to fund projects in underserved communities in the city’s South and West sides. The money will go to support projects that boost economic and job training opportunities and revitalize neighborhoods.
• The sixth edition of EXPO Chicago will officially open to the public today but last night’s Vernissage gave guests an opportunity to preview the 135 galleries representing 25 countries and 58 cities representing artists of different art mediums. • Former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live Wednesday night. This was Spicer’s first major TV interview since leaving his post.

• New York Fashion Week SS ’18 concluded Wednesday with collection presentations from Michael Kors, Viktor & Rolf Soir, Marchesa, Marc Jacobs. It’s now off to London in the exhausting fashion month calendar. Rumors in NY media reporting that Sally Singer is being considered for the recently vacated post of Vanity Fair EIC. Personally I think Derek Blasberg would be a better fit for the job but we shall see who Conde Nast appoints. Lastly, Qatar’s sovereign wealth fund sold 4.4 million shares worth $417 million in Tiffany & Co. They still hold a stake of 9.5% in the luxury jewelry retailer.
