NASCAR is a fascinating sport with a huge following! The fast cars and crew, devoted fans and the andrenaline infused drivers that go way too fast in circles(laps). We can see why  a young one can dream of one day being the next Jeff Burton, Dale Earnhardt Jr, Jeff Gordon or Jimmie Johnson and that’s exactly what 18 year old Dylan Kwasniewski hopes to one day achieve.
Last Thursday (9/12), during Chicago’s NASCAR week, AOL + NASCAR  held a screening of the new AOL digital series “Flat Out.” The 10 episode series, which will debut tomorrow 9/17 with each episode lasting no more than 6minutes, follows racing prodigy Dylan Kwasniewski as he moves from his home in Las Vegas, NV to  racing capital North Carolina to fulfill his dreams.

The series airing on AOL September 17, not only shows the fun and danger of the sport but also how a teenager balances life, friends and family. His friends are off to college and he’s off to begin a life devoted to race training though he would love to backpack through Europe with his best friend.

The series also shows him with his family, including a moment with his sister who currently attends Cornell University reflecting on him not getting a chance to experience that college life while growing up.
