The Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago (MCA) Women’s Board will host world renowned photographer Annie Leibovitz this spring for their first ever luncheon fundraiser. The MCA Visionary Luncheon, co-chaired by Rena Sternberg and Kristin Binder Stevens, will take place at the Standard Club (320 S Plymouth Ct, Chicago, IL 60604) on Wednesday, April 11, at noon with VIP Reception beginning at 11:30 am. The Women’s Board of the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago proudly welcomes American portrait photographer Annie Leibovitz to share in an afternoon of conversation and celebration in honor of the MCA’s 50th anniversary. This first-ever MCA Women’s Board Luncheon is dedicated to honoring extraordinary women artists around the world, and unites Chicago’s most influential leaders in support of arts education and public outreach programs. Guests will enjoy a curated program which includes a keynote presentation and a book signing of Leibovitz’s critically acclaimed new book, Annie Leibovitz: Portraits 2005-2016.
Ticket prices are $10,000 (Sponsor) or $5,000 (Benefactor) for a table of 10; or $500 (Patron) or $300 (Individual) for one ticket. All tickets include valet parking and a signed copy of Annie Leibovitz: Portraits 2005-2016 and can be purchased at mcachicago.org or by calling 312.397.4008.
Annie Leibovitz: Portraits 2005-2016 offers a survey of 150 iconic works that capture the most influential and and compelling figures of the last decade. Leibovitz shares her insights on a career capturing power, influence, and cultural history, photographing the likes of former President Barack Obama, Caitlyn Jenner, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and Rihanna at the height of their fame. Visionary: Celebrating Annie Leibovitz is organized by event co-chairs Rena Sternberg and Kristin Binder Stevens with Women’s Board President Marjorie K. Staples, and takes place at the Standard Club on Wednesday, April 11, at noon.
