• Berkshire Hathaway will buy the Duracell battery business from Procter & Gamble. $4.7 billion of P&G shares that Berkshire currently holds will be turned over; Duracell will have about $1.7 billion in cash when the deal is completed, which is expected in the second half of next year. [BLOOMBERG]

• Body Labs Grabs, the New York startup which began from a homicide investigation at Brown University in 2006, has secured $2.2mil seed funding. The company’s 3-D Body Model technology, has signed up customers including a major U.S. sports apparel maker and the U.S. Army.
