It’s a new year and you’ve made a resolution to get more involved. Perhaps you’re looking to meet other like minded young professionals, or want to help raise money and awareness. The Junior Council benefitting the Adolescent and Pediatric AIDS & HIV Programs at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago is an organization that’s been around. Their commitment to help raise funds and awareness for the has grown over time an now includes a yearly commitment to the Dr. Yogev Treatment Fund. The fund was named after Dr. Ram Yogev and Dr. Ellen Chadwic who established the HIV and AIDS Program in 1987 at The Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago and cares for more children and adolescents than any other pediatric HIV service in the region.
They are hosting one of their largest and annual fundraiser, Snowball, next month February 8 at Union Station. The event which draws over 1,000 guests will include food from restaurants such as: Carnivale, Zed451, RA Sushi, Summer House Santa Monica, Frontier to name a few. Guests will also enjoy live music, libations and chance at some great auction items and much more.
