Former men’s artistic director at Louis Vuitton, Kim Jones who presented his final collection just earlier this year has been named the new artistic director for Dior Homme ready to wear. Jones will take over from Kris Van Assche who exited the role after 11 years to take up a new assignment within LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton.This is new Christian Dior Couture Chairman and CEO Pietro Beccari’s first major hire since his arrival at the LVMH owned company.

Kim Jones, graduate of Central Saint Martins in London, was creative director of Dunhill from 2008 to 2011 and has had stints at Alexander McQueen, Mulberry, Hugo Boss and Umbro.
