Who will be charged?  Following late Friday’s news that special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into alleged Russian meddling in the 2016 U.S. presidential election has led to a charge being filed, though under seal, many have speculated who will be named. Paul Manafort, Michael Flynn were names at the top of that list, and this morning the New York Times is reporting that former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort and Rick Gates his protege have been told to surrender to federal authorities today. Manafort who is on his way with his lawyer, and Gates will be taken into custody. Manafort was fired from the Trump campaign after reports he pocketed at least $12 million in undisclosed payments from Viktor Yanukovych, the pro-Russia former Ukrainian president. • Senior adviser to the president Jared Kushner made an unannounced, secret visit to Saudi Arabia recently though the reason for the trip has not been disclosed. Kushner, in his third trip to Saudi Arabia this year, left the U.S. on Wednesday and returned Saturday; he was joined by “the Deputy National Security Adviser for Strategy, and the Special Representative for International Negotiations” and the meetings might be related to the administration’s desire to achieve an Israeli-Palestinian peace deal.
• In Chicago news: One person is dead (Shaft D. Wilson, 19, of  North Chicago) and another 20-year-old woman is injured in a shooting that happened in the Chicago northshore suburb of Lake Forest Sunday morning. The halloween party had over 100 people at a home in the 1300 block of West Estate Lane East, police are still investigating.  Following her concert at Allstate Arena Thursday, Janet Jackson visited her childhood home in Gary, Indiana. Echoing what Mayor Emanuel and police supervisor Eddie Johnson have been saying, majority of the guns used in crimes in Chicago come from Indiana, the suburbs and beyond. According to dnainfo, CPD’s Gun Trace Report says Indiana gun sales account for 21% . The Obama Foundation Summit will take place this Tuesday-Wednesday.

 Actor Kevin Spacey has come under fire after revelation that he tried to seduce a young actor. Star Trek actor Anthony Rapp said that about 31 years ago, when he was 14-year-old, Spacey came unto him in his Manhattan apartment. In an effort to apologize, Spacey released a statement on Twitter saying “he did not remember the incident but if it did happen it was likely deeply inappropriate drunken behaviour” for which he sincerely apologises. As those closest to me know, in my life I have had relationships with both men and women. I have loved and had romantic encounters with men throughout my life, and I choose now to live as a gay man. I want to deal with this honestly and openly and that starts with examining my own behaviour.” Spacey has been notoriously private about his sexual life so this is the first time he’s admitted something that’s been an open yet unconfirmed secret in Hollywood.
• Season 2 of Stranger Things debut on Netflix this weekend and many proceeded to binge but one of the hit show’s actors career might be in jeopardy as he was denied entry into the US due to drugs. Charlie Heaton, who plays the character Jonathan Byers (the on-screen son of Winona Ryder’s Joyce), was caught with trace amounts of cocaine while trying to enter the US and was sent back to London though no charges were filed. It also came out Heaton and former bandmate and girlfriend Akiko Matsuura are parents to a three year old son.


• Fashion blogger/influencer/designer of the The Blonde Salad Chiarra Ferragni and her fiancé, Italian musician Fedez announced via instagram they are expecting. He proposed to her back in May. A 14-year-old model from Russia, who was on a 3 month assignment in China, went into a coma after a 13-hour fashion show and died subsequently after that. The model, Vlada Dzyuba’s death is believed to have been caused by meningitis and exhaustion. Luxury e-commerce destination Moda Operandi is launching an incubator for emerging brands. The Platform, a digital incubator will build open the strategies they’ve used with emerging designers that represent 25 percent of the company’s current sales.
