As soon as West Loop cocktail lounge, Moneygun (660 W. Lake St.) announced they were dressing up as its favorite red-and-white themed restaurant chain with loads of flair, TGI Fridays, it attracted a whole lot of attention including that of TGI Friday’s legal representation. Though they got a bunch of swag with the cease and desist letter, Moneygun is still going forward with the party with a few adjustments. The original party was called TGIMONEYGUN but according to Moneygun partner Will Duncan “there are just a few things we really can’t say. So put it this way: there’s a certain bar we all love, you know the one… ‘it feels like it’s the end of the week all the time in there’ and they got super killer, super premium mudslides, for reals.” Now they are throwing a wtfMONEYGUN (Wear the Flair MONEYGUN), on Friday, October 27th (5pm-2am) and Saturday, October 28th (5pm-3am)
