So you may have heard that the Louis Vuitton America’s Cup World Series is coming to Chicago this weekend and might be wondering, “what’s the BFD?” Well the BFD is, this is the first time in its 165 year history that it will take place in fresh water on Lake Michigan. There are 6 countries competing in the qualifying event for the 2017 America’s Cup in Bermuda and boats, boats and boats. We’ve rounded up all the places to watch the America’s Cup in Chicago whether you’re at home, at Navy Pier or lucky enough to be at an hospitality suite.
