Making his first sojourn to Chicago, Aquazzura co-founder and designer Edgardo Osorio was welcomed Wednesday (4/13) by fans of his sexy and comfortable shoes.
The cocktail reception, benefitting the Service Club of Chicago, was held on the shoe floor of Barney’s and after a few rounds of interviews Edgardo made his way in to personally sign and sketch shoes for shoppers.

If you’re not familiar with Osorio’s designs, then jump on the band wagon quick. After attending Central Saint Martins, that school produces so many amazing fashion designers and the London College of Fashion, Edgardo “cut his teeth” working for fashion houses including Salvatore Ferragamo, Sigerson Morrison, and Roberto Cavalli and then launched his own line in 2011. He won Footwear News’ Designer of the Year award in December 2015, joining the ranks of past honorees Gianvito Rossi, Manolo Blahnik, Christian Louboutin and Giuseppe Zanotti. Stay tuned for our interview with Edgardo Osorio
