Another day, another primary election. The presidential candidates on both sides are gearing up for today’s New Hampshire primary election. Bernie Sanders currently has a double digit lead over Hillary Clinton in prelimenary polls, perhaps bolstered by his Saturday Night Live appearance? On the Republican side, Trump who repeated a vulgar word one of his rally goers called Ted Cruz, has a lead going in but Marco Rubio is closing in with Ted Cruz close behind. Dixville Notch, a town with nine residents saw Sanders sweep Hillary Clinton, 4-0, and Kasich topped Donald Trump, 3 votes to 2. Most polls will close in New Hampshire at 7pm EST. Meanwhile, reports surfaced yesterday that former NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg is considering a run as an independent with an early March deadline to enter the race “I find the level of discourse and discussion distressingly banal and an outrage and an insult to the voters,” Bloomberg told the Financial Times in an interview, adding that the U.S. public deserved “a lot better.”
