Lincoln Park Zoo Women's Board's ZooLA 2015

Chaired by Shawn Sandor and Vasiliki Weiden, this year’s ZooLA fundraiser brought in more than $225,000 which will go towards the Women’s Board’s leadership pledge to Lincoln Park Zoo’s conservation efforts and keep it free and accessible to all year round.

As guests arrived, spotting a parked Tesla in front of the Gold Coast/Streeterville area private club, they began the night with cocktails and libations before walking around to check out the silent auction items  and pre-auction raffle stunner, a pair of Pomellato earrings from theNudo Collection.

John Fornengo, led the 24 lot live auction once again this year which featured unique experiences travel destinations such as a (5) night stay at a Tuscan Villa,  a Lindblad Expeditions cruise in the Galapagos, an African safari,and a Natural Habitat polar bear adventure, Wine package, tickets to the Badgley Mischka New York spring fashion show and a Bagdley Mischka dress donated, an opportunity to name the Lincoln Park Zoo’s soon to arrive baby colobus monkey and a Tesla driving experience, to name a few.
