Philidor Rx Services, under scrutiny for its business practices, will no longer have a business relationship with Valeant Pharmaceuticals and will shut down operations as soon as possible. This was the result of an ongoing investigation that found Philidor altered doctors’ prescriptions to collect more reimbursements from U.S. health insurers. Valeant said that it paid $100 million late last year for an option to buy Philidor for nothing at any time in the next 10 years. Express Scripts, CVS Health and OptumRx announced they too would stop paying for drugs dispensed by Philidor. NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” has endorsed Hillary Clinton. “The Clinton campaign will also announce that an additional 85 mayors from across the country will endorse her today.” On the Republican side, some are urging candidate Jeb Bush to drop from the race. Ted Cruz informed Fox news that his  campaign has raised $1.1 million online since the debate.
