If you’re not following us on Snapchat @SociaLifechi or Instagram to get the insider look as the action’s going on, on the social scene, you are missing out because last Friday, the scene to be was at UNICEF Chicago’s Next Generation Masquerade Ball chaired by Adam Gifford and Erin Guffey Delawalla with event chair Jeff Feste.
Moonlight Studios was transformed into Neverland The evening’s dress code called for black tie and we spied many a dapper gents(Boothies) and ladies in gowns of all lengths with some guests dressed as pirates, even the Chicago PD cast members Sophia Bush, Jesse Lee Soffer, Brian Geraghty, LaRoyce Hawkins, Patrick John Flueger, Marina Squerciati #Squad in attendance came dressed to impress.
This was the second year UNICEF Chicago’s Next Generation hosted the Masquerade Ball with
the event exceeding its fundraising goal by $15,000 and raising a total of $115,000 to support UNICEF’s livesaving work that puts children first such as the global Child Protection programs and the U.S. Fund for UNICEF’s End Trafficking project to increase awareness and advocacy around child trafficking in the U.S. and around the world!!!
Dancing to the sounds from DJ Arkitek, we even spied Sophia Bush in her Oscar De la Renta ball gown getting low on the dance floor. When they weren’t busting a move or replenishing at the bar, guests at the sustainable, zero-waste event enjoyed a friendly Lost Boys vs. Pirates competition by buying glow candles(Lost Boys won), the UNICEF punch wall and passed food from Del Frisco’s. The candy station and fotio photo booth surely brought out the kid and halloween spirit in us all.
Missed the fun but might be in LA Oct. 30th? The UNICEF Next Generation Los Angeles will host their Masquerade Ball then.
