Yesterday afternoon, Attorney Thomas Eoannou held a press conference on behalf of the victim in the alleged Patrick Kane sexual assault case. One of the shocking revelations during the presser was that the rape kit evidence bag was left at the doorstep of the victims’ mother. Authorities have yet to disclose much about the incident which occurred last month at Kane’s mansion in Buffalo, New York but the victims’ attorney insists the investigation has been tampered with though Patrick Kane’s lawyer disputes the claim stating that samples from the kit come from a mixture of male profiles, none from Patrick Kane. The annual Muslim pilgrimage during hajj to the holy city of Mecca has resulted in over 500 dead in a stampede and over 700 hundred injured. The ritual known as “stoning the devil” where crowds of pilgrims throw stones at three pillars, was when the stampede occurred. The death toll numbers are growing; though this not the first fatality at Hajj, as hundreds have been killed in the past during the same ceremony. [CNN]


Europe’s biggest petroleum producer’s central bank lowered deposit interest rates to an all time low to prevent further plunge in oil prices. Norway’s currency the krone dropped 2.8% against the euro once the word about interest rate got out, its lowest since December last year. The rates may me lowered some more in the coming year. The Tonight Show host has been on fire this week, his Empire parody that featured cameos from some of the cast was spot on. Last night, he recreated 90’s show favorite Good Burger with appearance from Kel Mitchell and Keenan Thompson. We are all Dudes. [NBC]


The “retired” supermodel is set to release a $700 coffee table book with Taschen featuring hundreds of photos from her 20year career in the industry, including some nudes. Only 1,000 copies will be sold and will be available in November. [NY DAILY NEWS]
