Goddess and the Baker
Goddess and the Baker, from the Goddess Restaurant Group, is their newest dining concept which just opened at 33 S Wabash Ave. Breakfast, sandwiches, flatbreads and salads will be served. The space features a large dining table with chairs all around. Don’t miss the sweets display right by the entrance, especially for that 2pm pick me up. A second location at Navy Pier is tentatively scheduled to open in May.
Firecakes + Kool-Aid Donuts
Kool-Aid and Firecakes Donuts (68 W. Hubbard St.) are teaming up to launch a limited edition Kool-Aid Cherry-Glazed Donut starting May 1 and available exclusively at Firecakes Donuts throughout the month of May. On Friday, May 1 between 9:30 and 10:30am head over to meet the Kool-Aid Man(OH YEAH!) plus get free samples of the donut.
Glazed & Infused
Glazed and Infused will have the Grand Opening of their newest location at 222 N. Lasalle St tomorrow May 1. This will make it their 6th location in Chicago and their first loop location. Good luck with your will power.
Reserve app is now available in Chicago. The app is helping to make your dining out experience seamless from reservation to paying the bill, with their digital concierge. After your meal, the check is automatically billed to your card, including the tip and Reserve’s small concierge fee. Their launch party was held last week Thursday at Le Colonial with Moët flowing and food from Le Colonial.
So if you’ve been trying to get into Sepia or finally checking out the buzz on Formento’s, you can try it out with Reserve. Some of the other restaurants they’ve added are: Promontory, The Kitchen, Le Colonial to name a few.
