Windy City Electric Co. was banned from getting any more city business over allegations it fraudulently landed millions of dollars in contracts set aside for companies owned by women but the politically connected company has since secured more than $3 million in new work from the Chicago Public Schools. Washington Post photojournalist Michel du Cille, has been disinvited by Syracuse University from participation in a journalism workshop this weekend. Du Cille and his wife, Nikki Kahn, both Pulitzer prize-winning Post photojournalists and he had just returned from covering the Ebola epidemic in Liberia 21 days ago. A student who was researching du Cille prior to the workshop found out he had recently returned from Liberia and expressed concern. Provost Eric Spina spoke with health officials and made the call. The shifting mentality about bonuses means even when the bank’s revenue spikes higher, bankers’ bonuses won’t. Elaine Stritch, who passed in July, will receive a one-night-only Broadway tribute featuring Bernadette Peters, Patti Lupone, Hal Prince, Betty Buckley, Christine Ebersole and Michael Feinstein. “Everybody, Rise!
