It’s that time of year again. Where cutoff denim shorts, heavily wristbanded youths and party goers descend upon Grant Park and surrounding venues for the 3 day music festival. Lollapalooza this year will feature headliners Eminem, Outkast, Kings of Leon, Calvin Harris Skrillex & Lorde but if you really want to enjoy yourself, make sure to take in some of these essentials. From hair, to clothes that will surely get you streetstyle snapped to the parties.
We had Joe Rosengarden of Swerve Salon show us a few hairstyles that you can rock without fuss and no heat instruments used. For short hair he did a “miley bun” which would surely attract a streetstyle photog with the right outfit and also did a deep side part twist.
For the long hair, we took inspiration from the look hair pro Guido Palau created for the Marc by Marc Jacobs Fall 2014 show. Joe created 2 looks, one was pigtails which you can wear hanging or pinned(how to video to come). The other was a twist on the top knot bun with a fishtail braid wrap around
Joe Rosengarden of Swerve Salon shows us how to achieve the top knot bun with a fish tail braid wrapped around it.
