Farmers Markets to Check Out in Chicago

The delay was real, but springtime has finally reached Chicago. That means as the flowers begin to blossom around the city, farmer’s markets across Chicagoland, from downtown to Evanston, will reopen. Beginning in Spring and through early fall, amongst the many traditional festivals that the city hosts, the farmer’s markets are just as exciting and vary in theme. Only a few of the locations are open year round hosted by an indoor venue, and will relocate to a summer spot.

Here is a list of the market’s that have announced open days of the week thus far as well as times and run schedules.

Green City Market

Address: Intersection of Clark and Lincoln

Wednesdays and Saturdays, 7 am – 1pm

Daley Plaza Farmer’s Market 

Address: 50 W. Washington

Thursdays 7am-3pm

Runs May through October

Wicker Park Farmers Market

Address: 1425 N. Damen Ave.

Sundays 8 am- 2pm

Runs June through October

Logan Square Farmers Market 

Address: Logan Bl. from Milwaukee to Whipple

Sundays 10am-3pm

The Chicago French Market 

Address: 131 N. Clinton

Monday – Friday 7 am-7:30pm

Andersonville Farmers Market

Address: Berwyn Ave. and Clark

Wednesdays 3pm-8pm

Farmers Market at the Museum of Contemporary Art
