Last Thursday, some of Chicago’s tastemakers and well financed gents and ladies who love them were invited to celebrate the opening of Brioni Chicago.
Though the store that’s located across from the Waldorf Astoria on Walton street has been open for a few weeks, the partnership with GQ Magazine was the official opening celebration. The store which carries some of the best menswear from leisure to formalwear has already established relationships with their current and future clients.
Brioni USA CEO Todd Barrato, Brioni Creative Director Brendan Mullane, GQ Publisher Chris Mitchell and GQ Deputy Editor and author Michael Hainey all addressed guests in attendance with Mr. Hainey so far as hailing Chicago the Milan of the States.
The evening also served as a special homecoming of sorts for Mr. Hainey who is originally from Chicago and recently released a tome, “After Visiting Friends.” Guests received a copy of the book and the newest GQ with Michael Fassbender on the cover.
In attendance to celebrate the evening were Jaime and Melissa Sage Fadim, J.P Anderson, David Jude Green, James Goeke, Drew Harris, Ari Bendersky, Ceautrice Scott, Brioni Team members Kourtney Bokamper, Bevin Elias, Nicole Briata, Toni Canada, Paola Lucarni, Bija Bennett, Amanda Puck, Graunk Enzenberger, Ahmed Braimah and many others.
The Brioni man is classic, stylish and his clothes speak volumes when he walks into a room. The new store, though intimate has a wide array of luxury goods and the staff is super nice and helpful.
