SAIC Master of Design Students with Nick Cave
Monday(4/15) night, invited guests gathered in the Swarovski Chicago store to view the unveiling of the window installationcreated by The School of Art Institute Chicago’s Master of Design program students.
The collaboration between Swarovski and SAIC Master of Design program students produced a show stopping installation that literally stops you in your tracks when walking by the store. Dr. Walter Massey-President of SAIC- thanked Swarovski for their continued support and coming on again this year as presenting sponsor. He also acknowledged the other sponsors whose support will help make WALK 2013 a great show. The window installation will be up until May 3.
Nick Cave (back from his acclaimed HEARD.NY project) also addressed guests in attendance and spoke about the diverse talent of the students. WALK 2013 co-chair Roopa Weber of Ariel Investments thanked sponsors and guests, noting we should all look forward to a great show come May 3.

Following the window installation unveiling, Swarovski hosted an intimate media dinner at RM Champagne Salon which was such a great time!
